1. place 其字面含义差不多是一个、一块比较平的用于放置东西的地方。
2. place => plac- => plaq- + -ue => plaque.
3. plague里面居然藏着一个gre词汇:ague疟疾。
可是有些G友似乎要抱怨:ague?记不住!早就和argue(争论)混了。
别怕!argue(争论)不就比ague(疟疾)多了一个r吗?新东方的悍妇讲师赵丽告诉我们:见到r就联想到人(拼音ren的首字母)或者一朵花(r本身就像一朵玫瑰花rose)
记法:有人(r)的argue在争论,争论(ague)无人是疟疾,因为人都得了疟疾死光光了。

plaque读作:扑来客。
看来,除非发音帝关靖华老师出来解释一番字母的读音规律,否则我只能用无耻下流的谐音法来记发音了。
