  词根dic 是拉丁动词dicere 的不定式词干，dict 是动名词词干，意为to say ,to declare,to allot（此含义较少用）,to assert等。有时“c”（k）不发音，同义词根有来源于拉丁语的fa/fam/fess,locut/loqu,nounc/nunci,or,parl,来源于希腊语的phras,pha/phe/phu 等。
